Meet the Team

Anna Greene – Project Manager

Kirsty Ballantyne – Family Worker

Through completing my degree in Sport Coaching and Management, I discovered a strong passion for working with children and families. My roles as a Youth Worker and Young Carers Support Worker provided me with valuable experience, skills, and knowledge, which I have carried into my current position as Lead Family Worker at the WIN Project. Since joining the WIN Project in 2023, I have worked closely with local children and families in need of support. This has included delivering one-to-one sessions, conducting home visits, and facilitating group work such as the Children’s Group, weekly Drop-In sessions, ASN Group, and other community initiatives. The WIN Project is truly unique and plays a vital role within the community. It serves as a safe, welcoming space that offers essential and meaningful support to those who need it most. Our team is committed to providing inclusive and compassionate services, meeting individuals where they are and offering tailored support. I genuinely cannot imagine working anywhere else. The WIN team — from staff and volunteers to our service users — is exceptional, and I feel proud to be part of such a dedicated and wonderful team.

Laura Sterling – Family Worker

Hi my is Laura Stirling. I am one of the family workers at the Carnwadric WIN Project. I qualified as a childcare practioner back in 2006, since then I have worked in various childcare establishments for 22 years prior to starting as a family support worker at the WIN Project in 2022.

Cally McCormick – Family Worker

Hey, I’m Cally I started at the win as a volunteer and worked my way up to family support worker. The win is like nowhere else in the world it’s a community inside a community with everyone helping each other to reach their full potential. I can’t express how much the win has helped me personally and I can’t wait to help others like myself become who they want to be.

Alex Purton – Activities Coordinator

I first started with the Win in 2022, while struggling with mental health issues. Since coming onboard I have not only felt a sense of belonging… but also made a family for life. Seeing each and every individual grow into amazing people and finding a sense of belonging for themselves, it’s truly the greatest reward a person can ask for. I love being able to help others through the struggles life hands them and be a friendly face for them to approach if they ever need a friend. The Win Project is truly an amazing place, and I will forever be grateful for the endless amounts of love and support it gives out.

Maria Dow – Activities Coordinator

I came on to the win project as a family in need of support with a child with ASN. I became a volunteer because I loved what WIN was doing with/for the company and wanted to be part of it. When I released WIN was looking for staff to help with crafty stuff I jumped at the opportunity to become a member of the team and have the chance to show my creative side. I love being part of the team and learning how I can help the community through my creative side.
