We are a small team of dedicated people with a wide range of skills and experience. We love what we do, and we do it with passion. We look forward to working with you and your family. Staff, volunteers and our Trustees.
A background in Textile Design, Dawn has worked in Higher Education at Glasgow School of Art moving from textiles to Widening participation, managing a large outreach project for young people applying to further education. Dawn’s passion to work with young people and support them on their journey led to working at Impact Arts and managing a wide range of programmes. From there Dawn went to Home Start Glasgow North and gained experience of working with families in crisis. In her spare time she works with young people in the care system. Dawn runs the project on a day to day basis, and is responsible for funding of the project. Always available to help out where required. Hardly sits still.

Family Worker My name is Tracy and I joined the Win team as a part time family in September 2019.
I am a Mum of four and a parent carer. I have always volunteered and worked in communities, which allows me to get to know people well, which is my favourite part of my job.
Last year graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an Honours Degree in Education and Social Services. Still not sure how that happened but I did learn loads and met some lovely people over the years.
Since starting with Win, I oversee the food project, support families with additional support needs, provide family support and get involved with groups and events as they occur throughout the year. Always keen to help when I can, enjoy a wee laugh and try to see the best in very situation.
Things I like sunny days, dogs, swimming, eating out and time spent with family. Things I dislike insects, tomatoes, and Covid-19.

Graham looks after the finance and admin of the project. He is the person that keeps us organised and works closely with our Treasurer and Trustees. Graham takes care of many things including, payroll, employment procedures and keeps us calm and makes sure we all do our paperwork!

Family Support Worker
I swerved into family support and advocacy about eight years ago after taking some time out to look after my daughters (they’re teenagers now). I’ve worked with families with children with very complex health needs and more recently as a children and young people’s advocacy with Partners in Advocacy. I’m keen on children and young people’s rights and access to education, especially around disability. Passionate about skills and learning and interested in health both mental and physical. When I’m not working for WIN, I’ve set up a drama project for children and young people with physical disabilities affecting their speech.
I like all sort of crafts and also enjoy cooking. One of my hobbies for the past 17 years has been tricking my children into eating (and liking) vegetables.
I have always loved volunteering and working in communities with families. I have a master’s degree in International Business, Economics and Modern Languages – graduating in the middle of a pandemic was strange after 5 years graft!
I oversee the online ladies and children’s craft groups along with Patsy, our creative artist, and sometimes my tortoise Archie. I never sit still and continually find new projects to get involved with. I love reading and run my own community library. I cannot wait for restrictions to ease so I can meet some more families in real life and pass on my book recommendations to anyone who will listen!
